As a coach, Ljubicic himself has helped the 41-year-old Swiss tennis legend add three more Grand Slam titles to his career achievements. Recently, the 44-year-old Croatian tennis coach, in an interview with Tennis Major, revealed a huge secret regarding what tennis players actually try to find in their coaches. And along with that, shared a Djokovic example while explaining his own player-coach equation.
He said, “Novak, I mean, Novak, like me, like all the people from this part of the world, Goran was our idol. That?s one of the reasons, I guess, that Roger hired (Stefan) Edberg as well, because he was his idol. At that level, these guys, they are looking for somebody that they respect, regardless of why, it doesn?t matter, maybe, at the beginning.”?

In addition, he also emphasized the fact that they just want someone who can listen to them and work with them on their problems.
