Barbie and Oppenheimer have been ruling the world ever since their release. Naturally, ‘Barbenheimer’ has become the talk of the world. What started as Barbie vs. Oppenheimer debate ended with both blockbuster movies boosting each other’s performance despite sharing the same release date. The whole world went into overdrive, and so did the popular influencer-girlfriend of Taylor Fritz, Morgan Riddle.

The couple have recently moved in together to a new apartment in Los Angeles, taking their relationship to another level. While Fritz is preparing for US Open, his girlfriend is occupied with her own life. Riddle decided to watch the fantasy and comedy film Barbie, which she loved. While she stopped at that, her best friends took her to watch Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece, and Riddle revealed her horrified reaction to the movie.

‘Barbie’ over ‘Oppenheimer’ for Morgan Riddle, girlfriend of Taylor Fritz

Unlike the majority of the world, the practical effects of ‘Oppenheimer’ did not particularly entice Riddle. Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend uploaded two stories about her experience with the film, one before she watched the film and the other after she exited the theater. She expressed her reaction to the film in the second Instagram story.

Sharing a picture of the infamous explosion scene, the American influencer and model wrote, “unfortunately i did keep falling asleep and the atomic bombs would wake me up and scare the f out of me.” The five-time Oscar-nominated director ensured that the scene would recreate the blinding white flash of the real nuclear explosion without using CGI effects.

But nothing impressed the ‘Barbie’ fan. She shared that ‘Barbie’ made her cry, especially in the climax when she heard the mother’s line. She also compared Fritz to Ken when the Atlanta Open winner posed for the cover of ‘Style’ magazine. In her YouTube vlog, the influencer even revealed her pink and white Barbie-themed phone case.

The model girlfriend of Fritz also revealed that she was obsessed with the fantasy film. As soon as she watched the film, she shared her views in her Instagram story. The 26-year-old wrote that she was either laughing or crying throughout the all-pink film. However, she also had to watch the historical biographical drama and shared the reason behind agreeing to watch the movie.

Fritz’s girlfriend watched Oppenheimer for the protagonist Cillian Murphy

In the first Instagram story, Riddle shared that she watched the movie at iPic Theater in Los Angeles. She wrote, “my besties took me to ipic to see oppenheimer (basically i just wanted to oogle over tommy shelby).” Cillian Murphy, who was cast as Oppenheimer also played he character of Tommy Shelby in the famous ‘Peaky Blinders’ series, a Netflix original.

Shelby is one of Murphy’s most iconic characters, for which he even won the ‘National Television Award For Outstanding Drama Performance’ twice in 2020 and 2022. Riddle, too, is no exception to Murphy’s boyish charm and impeccable performance in the series. However, even his stellar presence could not say Morgan into liking ‘Oppenheimer’ as much as ‘Barbie’.

These completely opposite films attracted viewers across the globe. People on social media even claimed that Margot Robbie deserves an Oscar nomination for playing Barbie while Cillian Murphy deserves the Academy Award for playing Oppenheimer.
