The Canadian tennis player was serving at 3-4 while it was deuce. Then, the line judge called out during the second serve, which prompted Shapovalov to cross the net to show the chair umpire about that line. However, the chair umpire didn’t listen to him and gave him a point penalty. As a result, he lost that game and eventually lost the second set to Sonego.
However, he could not accept the decision made by the chair umpire. He said to the umpire, “I was just showing you the mark.”
In reply, the umpire said, “That’s just the rule.”
“No, it’s not, it’s stupid,” Denis further said.

The drama didn’t stop there, as he complained to the chair umpire about a member of the crowd. In reply, the umpire said, “I’m not gonna kick him out because I didn’t see what he was doing. I saw you talking to him and you incited it a little bit. I understand you’re frustrated.”

As the Canadian tennis player was talking to the supervisor, the crowd booed him heavily. Then, he shouted at the crowd by saying, “shut the f*** up.”
So basically it was deuce with Shapo serving at 3-4.
Then there was a dispute over a line call which turned out to be a double fault.
Then Shapo crossed the net and got a point penalty which means he dropped serve to trail Sonego 3-5.
Sonego then holds & levels the match.

Shapovalov vs Sonego is wild.
Shapovalov, who already had a warning, gets a code violation for crossing the net.
So that's a point penalty.
He was *furious* about it.
He called the supervisor and shouted STFU at the crowd. Very lucky not to get a game penalty for that.

In the Indian Wells, he also had a meltdown moment while playing doubles with Rohan Bopanna. In one way or another, this has not been a great year for Shapovalov, in terms of his on-court antics.
