His antics on and off the court tend to leave watchers and his fans in a split. An Instagram account recently reminded fans of the silly ways in which Djokovic sometimes acts on the court. They shared a video of the Djoker accidentally hitting a ball girl in the 2007 Madrid Open. Followers of the account left several hilarious comments after the event.

This is not the only event in which Djokovic hit someone on the court. In the 2020 US Open, Djokovic hit a lineswoman after a point loss and the officials promptly disqualified him from the tournament.

An Instagram account posted a video of the incident. In his second-round bout in the 2007 Madrid Open, Djokovic was preparing to receive a serve. As Fernando Verdasco hit the ball on his forehand, Nole attempted to make a fantastic return down the line. Djokovic made a slight mistake in calculations as the ball flew at a high speed towards the head of an unfortunate ball girl.

As the ball struck, the two players reacted worryingly. Djokovic regretted instantly. He held his head in his hand and looked down at the ground. After a brief moment of shock, he rushed to check if the girl was alright.
