Rafael Nadal seems to be enjoying his practice sessions in the scenically beautiful city of Indian Wells. The Spaniard took to his Instagram to upload a post that showed him practicing on a hard court surrounded by breathtaking views of mountains and the delightful flora of the Pacific region.

Nadal has been in roaring form since the start of the season. Year to date, the Spaniard has won two ATP tour titles along with the Australian Open and is on a 15-0 win streak. Eyeing to improve his win streak further, the former World No.1 is in Indian Wells, eyeing his fourth title at the Masters 1000 event. This will also be his 4th title run of the season.

Nadal cherishing nature at the Indian Wells

Rafael Nadal uploaded a post on his Instagram handle. In the post, Nadal indulged in some serious high-intensity practice. However, the post wasn’t a one to show the 23-time Grand slam winner practicing. Instead, it showed the surroundings of the court on which the champion was practicing.

The court was situated in the laps of the rising mountains of the city of Indian Wells. The surreal beauty of the mountains was accompanied by dreamlike views of flora all around the court. Cherishing the views, Nadal uploaded a video on his Instagram handle. He captioned the video, “Seriously… what is this place…Heaven and PARADISE!!!!!”

ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells is played at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, situated in the city of Indian Wells, California. The oasis city is surrounded by the Santa Rosa mountains, and is home to breathtaking scenery all around.

Rafael Nadal has been a three-time winner at the ATP Masters 1000 BNP Paribas Open. He first won the title in 2007, beating the 12th seeded Novak Djokovic in the finals. However, in 2008, the Serbian took the revenge as he went on to win the title, beating Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals.

Not willing to give up his title, Rafael Nadal made a comeback in 2009, cruising through to the final dropping just one set. In the finals, the top-seeded Spaniard beat the 4th seeded Andy Murray in straight sets, clinching his second title at Indian Wells. In 2011, the Spaniard reached the finals but fell short to the 3rd seeded Novak Djokovic, losing in three sets. However, two years later, in 2013, Nadal took back the title, beating Juan Martin Del Potro in the finals.

The Spaniard will be eyeing his fourth title at the tournament as well as the season at this year’s ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells.
