Crazy scenes unfolded recently at the Davis Cup. In a highly anticipated Davis Cup match between Novak Djokovic-led Serbia and Great Britain, it was the former who managed to make their way through to the semi-finals of the tournament. However, the match had all the drama as some fans came out and tried their best to disturb the Serbian legend. But, it was not enough for the British fans. After the match was over and the British team suffered an elimination, Andy Murray came ahead and thanked the fans for their support.
However, his tweet broke the internet as it dealt with a lot of backlash from fans and users worldwide. Fans came ahead and slammed the former grand slam winner for his choice of words.

As the tweet by Andy Murray broke the internet, many fans and experts took to Twitter to voice their opinions on certain issues. “Tough one for the guys in Malaga last night @DavisCup. Huge thanks to all the fans who made the big effort to travel out there and create a brilliant atmosphere for the players (clap emoji) the Davis Cup without you = (thumbs down emoji)” wrote Murray on Twitter.
However, some fans came in and smashed the British player as they did not agree with certain issues. Reacting to the whole scene, one user came and said that the British fans last night did not show good behavior as they tried to disrupt Novak Djokoivc’s speech. “I hope Andy also condemns the minority of the GB fans that were trying to disrupt Djokovic post-match interview. I’ve had some GB fans contact me today to say how disappointed they were with those fans and that they didn’t represent the majority of the fans who were respectful,” wrote the fan.

Another user came in and suggested that the way that Murray has mentioned ‘brilliant atmosphere’ might sound like a dig into the incident that happened with Djokovic. “Murray mentioning fans and “brilliant atmosphere” seems like a dig at the Djokovic incident,” said the fan.

Another user came in and suggested that the behavior of the fans was quite nasty and that they shouldn’t have done this during the Djoker’s interview. “The majority yes, but no some of them didn’t create a great atmosphere tbh. Quite nasty,” wrote the fan.

Thus, the fans went all in and slammed the British player after his supportive statement towards the crowd broke the internet. At the ongoing Davis Cup, the fans saw a villainous side of the Serbian as he went ahead to hit out at the fans who were constantly disrupting his play. As his match got over and secured a much-needed win for the Serbian side against Cameron Norrie, he went straight and asked the fans to learn how to respect the players.

Thus, some great drama unfolded at the Davis Cup as some fans got to see a villainous side of the Serbian that does not come up front usually. While team Serbia managed to make their way through to the semis, the Djoker had to go through a lot of backlash.
