The Italian fans supported their native and more than that, treated Korda with immense disrespect, by passing personal comments on him and his girlfriend.

Even after being surrounded by a criticizing crowd, the American managed to keep his levels intact and therefore secured a massive 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 win. While it was enough of a response to the disrespectful crowd, Sebastian Korda decided to give them more on social media.

Thank you for the extra motivation,” he reacted to a post on the ATP Tour’s official X handle that congratulated him for touching a massive feat. “@SebiKorda completes the set of match wins at all 9 ATP Masters 1000 events, coming through an EPIC against Cobolli!” the post said.

Although the tennis star had to go through a humiliating atmosphere for approximately 2 and a half hours, he still kept his spirits up and therefore mentioned, “Still love yall“ along with including the Italian flag. This not only showed the American’s high levels of sportsmanship but also made everyone believe that he could withstand situations of immense pressure at ease.

However, it wasn’t just Korda who took a firm stand to present a zipping response to the heckling Italian crowd.

The video captured a glimpse of the moment when Sebastian Korda took the winning shot and turned towards the crowd to make a cold gesture. While the crowd crossed the limits by poking the ATP star with comments on his girl, the fact that she also stepped forward to back the love of her life came acted as a positive gesture.
