Sebastian Korda’s Girlfriend Emotionally Remembers Father’s Touching Goodbye From Iconic Career on Its 15-Year Anniversary

Does the surname ‘Nedved’ ring a bell in anybody’s mind? Though tennis fans would certainly know Sebastian Korda, some would also remember Ivana Nedved now, if not before, as Korda’s girlfriend. As the young American tennis star gets ready to face the Spanish tennis sensation, Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, at the French Open, Korda’s girlfriend, Nedved, is there to support him. However, she is supporting not just one but two important men in her life. One is the tennis star, and the other is her father, Pavel Nedved.

Recently, on her Instagram account, Korda’s famous girlfriend shared a heartwarming story, paying tribute to her father. Though some of us may be aware of the legacy that she carries, Ivana is the daughter of the former Czech football player Pavel Nedved. Her father represented the famous club, Juventus, before he hung up his boots back in 2009. And to reminisce about the good old times, Juventus, on their official Instagram account, shared the post captioning, “#OnThisDay 🔙 in 2009, we bid farewell to our Czech Fury, Pavel Nedved 🚀🇨🇿🤍🖤.” 

And no sooner did they pay tribute to the Czech Fury; his daughter, Korda’s girlfriend, Ivana Nedved, shared the post as her Instagram story. With a touching caption, “Feels like yesterday🤍.” Celebrating 15 years of her father’s goodbye from football and extending her support while reminiscing about the legend’s time on the field.  However, not just her father, today is an important day for her boyfriend too. As he plays his third-round match at Roland Garros.

Ivana has accompanied Korda to support him through his French Open campaign. Particularly when it features the best players around the world looking to claim the trophy. But another entity has stayed true to its nature: the European climate. The unanticipated weather changes have created issues for players on the ground, including the American tennis sensation. Consequently, this gives a reason for Ivana to shop her best at Roland Garros.

As rain greeted the tennis stars in Paris, it’s the spectators who have borne the brunt of the unpredictable weather, including Korda’s girlfriend. Therefore, it did not come as a surprise when Nedved updated her followers on her Instagram account in a raincoat.

She captioned, “I saved my day (or the last 2). This raincoat, aka the best 15E spent @Roland Garros this week considering the continuous rain.” No wonder it was the best buy for Ivana Nedved, as she supported Korda through the initial rounds. And, undoubtedly, better than drenching in unannounced rains!
