Recently, the 28-year-old tennis star opened up about how his current relationship with his girlfriend is different from the other toxic relationships he has been through.

The couple is quite open about all the struggles and happiness they have been through, whether it be Kyrgios’ injuries or Hatzi supporting him on the court. As the Australian tennis player is ready to make a comeback in 2024, he recently appeared on a podcast show with Jai Shetty. In that conversation, he talked about his tennis life and, along with that, shed light on his personal life and emphasized the equation he carries with his girlfriend. In addition, he also talked about how his current relationship with Hatzi is quite different from any other toxic relationships that he has had in the past.

Kyrgios said, “I’ve had relationships prior that, you know, were toxic, and they didn’t end up going well. And I think the thing I love about my relationship, now we have such strong boundaries and respect for each other, like we don’t, and with social media and relationships in general, like, boundaries can be a bit soft.” 

Further, he highlighted how he has grown up seeing his parents together for around 40 years, and they still joke with each other but at the same time maintain respect in their relationship. He mentioned how they have set boundaries and shown respect for each other, handling ‘communication and patience’ at their best.

Just a few days ago, the Australian tennis player attended the Joe & The Juice x Miami Pickleball Club event. During the event, in a conversation, he talked about how he is either a party animal or doesn’t even like to step out of the house.

While talking about his party animal image, he also made fun of how his girlfriend is the one who handles him. He said, “Every party I go to kind of turns into a circus, no matter where I am, We’ll see. My girlfriend is my boss.” It won’t be wrong to say that for the Australian player who rules thousands of hearts with his tennis racket, his heart is ruled by his girlfriend.
