Dan Evans and Liam Broady get involved in a fun chat
Tennis players across different countries have started to showcase their skills at the ATP Cup 2022. In the group stages, Great Britain met the German team. World No. 25 Dan Evans was up against Jan-Lennard Struff. Right after the first three games, Dan Evans was spotted having a talk with captain Liam Broady during their bench chat.
Dear @Liambroady,
You need to do more as #TeamGB captain 😅
Regards,

Evans asked Broady, “You nervous.” Broady replied, “About what?” And Evans jokingly said, “Say something mate, you are the captain.” It seemed like Evans wanted the captain to acknowledge the performance he’d shown so far. Till then, the Brit was 2-1 up in the match.

Evans comfortably beats Struff
Dan Evans of Great Britain eased past the German with 6-1, 6-2. Throughout the match, the World No. 25 looked quite confident, as he grabbed more points on his first serve. In February 2021, Evans triumphed at his first ATP Tour title at the Murray River Open. And it looks like he wants to capture more titles in the year 2022.
However, on the other side, World No. 3 Alexander Zverev overcome Cameron Norrie handsomely. Despite having an amazing season, Norrie couldn’t win a single set against Sascha. Therefore, the current standings in Group C are that Great Britain is at number two, while Germany is at number three. Team USA leads the table with more win percentage.
