After he implemented the change, he became the stereotype of a healthy tennis player and ushered in his era of dominance. An American ATP star has seen the change in Djokovic and lauded him for it while likening him to Serena Williams.

Novak Djokovic received a visit from an angel when a Serbian doctor contacted him about his health issues. Although he had won a slam, he kept falling ill, which caused him to drop out of tournaments. But a change in his diet was just what he needed to ensure his greatness.

Appearing on the most recent edition of the ‘Tennis Chanel Live Podcast’, Chris Eubanks stated that he has seen the growth of the Djoker since he was young and lauded the changes he brought about to ensure his growth. He mostly focused on his diet and said that nobody takes better care of their health than Djokovic. His dedication has further inspired players to have a strict diet to improve their standings.

Eubanks further said, “He’s revolutionized the game in a lot of different ways. Nutrition, taking care of the body. And just like Prakash spoke about, periodized his schedule so that he peaks when he needs to peak.

He also gave the example of Serena Williams when talking about the Djoker. “We saw Serena Williams do it for years at the end of her career, choosing a schedule that was very selective and allow for her to play her best tennis when she needed to most. Djokovic has been doing that. He will continue to do that.

Djokovic’s world turned around after a doctor contacted him to tell him his theory about why he might be underperforming. That conversation changed everything for the Djoker and made him the player he is today.
