Earlier this week, the Swiss maestro appeared in an interview where he talked about various subjects. One among them was about his experience of turning into a spectator at some big tournaments like Wimbledon and Laver Cup. He thoroughly enjoyed tennis from the stands, showing his love for the sport.
"I wanted to see how it felt to be a normal person at a tennis tournament. I felt very good. I love this sport and I don't want to move away from it." Federer said.

Federer said, “I wanted to see how it felt to be a normal person at a tennis tournament. I felt very good. I love this sport and I don’t want to move away from it.” The Swiss icon appeared in four tournaments last year. Apart from the Wimbledon Championships and the Laver Cup, he was also present at the Shanghai Masters and in Tokyo.
Despite his retirement, Federer has remained close to tennis. Not only does he love the sport very much, but he also has business interests in mind with his stake in the Laver Cup. As a result, Federer aims to remain invested in the sport this year as well.
