Federer's adorable family moment—proof that he's winning at life, not just tennis?

Get ready for some adorable family photos of Roger Federer! This year in June, Federer gifted his fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated documentary “Federer: Twelve Final Days.” There, we cherished the last moments of the former World No. 1’s professional career. Three months later, Federer offered yet another glimpse into his private life, in the form of his first-ever visual biography book. And a sweet picture from the book is making the rounds on social media!

Authored by Doris Henkel, the book called “Federer,” depicts Roger Federer’s photos of childhood, family, his personality, and record-breaking career. Moreover, the book, which is 336 pages (published by Assouline), also has some exclusive notes from Federer himself along with his interviews! Although it initially hit the market on September 4th during the 2024 US Open event, it seems that fans are understandably not over it!

In addition to his unforgettable photo of kissing his US Open trophy in 2007, another photo from his early parenthood days is captivating fans’ attention. An X user posted a picture from the book that shows Roger Federer and his wife Mirka, whom he married in 2009 and holding their kids in their arms. In the same year in July, the couple welcomed their first set of identical twins(girls), Charlene Riva and Myla Rose. In the picture, the duo, wearing full black attire, is looking into each other’s eyes while holding their infant twins!

“This is the greatest day of our lives..It’s been a lot of fun being a father and spending time with them. It’s an amazing feeling to be called a dad. I take a lot of pride in that title,” he revealed in a statement at the time. And almost five years after that in 2014, the couple announced on X, “Mirka and I are very happy to share the news that Myla & Charlene will be big sisters in 2014! Happy Holidays.”They soon welcomed another set of identical twins(boys), Leo and Lenny.

The recent picture on X takes us back to those days of Roger Federer’s life! Moreover, in the same book, he also reminisced about the early days of his career, revealing how he found his passion for tennis!

The Basel-based Swiss, Roger Federer, took on the role of a ball boy in his hometown around six years before he turned into a professional tennis player. However, even as a ball boy at his hometown Basel event during 1992 and 1993 (the Swiss Indoors), he showed his immense talent and even received a medal from the German tennis player Michael Stitch! Talking about those days in his book, Roger Federer said,

“When my passion for tennis started, I was just a ball kid in my hometown, watching the players in awe. They seemed like giants to me, and that’s when I began to dream.” Furthermore, the now 43-year-old former player added, “Those dreams inspired me to work harder and, little by little, I gained confidence. That journey took me to the incredible place I stand today. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who helped a young Swiss ball kid’s dream become a reality.”

Besides, in the book, he also talked about his unique experience in winning the US Open title in New York and how he loved the “magical” energy of the crowd. Federer’s book not only evokes a sense of nostalgia among fans, but the adorable photos also allow us to see some rare glimpses of his personal life!
