Roger Federer earned several accolades during his active years. The Swiss Maestro became a master of many as he showed his talent in the sport. He had entrances to the tennis world with his abilities, which took him to 20 grand slams. Now, more than a year after he retired, Federer still lives large in the hearts of tennis fans worldwide. Even the childhood coach of Serena Williams remembers him fondly and gave him a nickname as he reminisced about his athleticism. 

As Rick Macci praises Federer, he believes that Novak Djokovic encompasses his abilities and has more to show. He talked about the Djoker in a recent post on his social media, as he did with Federer.

During his prime, the former number 1 used to astound his opponents with his athleticism. Federer managed to run rounds around his opponents and had more in his tank to fatigue them. His stamina was complemented by his movement, which seemed as though he was sliding on the smoothest surface. Rick Macci has not forgotten how he used to run around the court.

He recently shared a post where he talked about Federer’s ability to move around the court as though he was air. “The Smoothest Mover ever to hold the stick when it came to Footwork was delivered by FED EX EXPRESS, who could Glide and Slide from Side to Side like a rolling Tide. ROGER THAT.”

Macci is a big fan of Federer, and his followers can often see him praising the Swiss star. However, when it comes to choosing between Novak Djokovic and Federer, Macci leans a bit toward the Serbinator. One can see it in his other post, where he praises Djokovic’s abilities by giving the example of Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Macci calls Novak Djokovic a combination of Federal

In a recent post on his ‘X’ page, the legendary coach praised Federer and Nadal’s abilities. He said that Federer made the game look elegant, like a ballet. On the other hand, Rafa oozed raw power and hit blazing-fast shots, which made it seem like he was boxing with the ball. For him, Djokovic carries the traits of both the greats and makes it seem like ballet and boxing.
