Swiss tennis maestro Roger Federer recently had a great vacation. However, he didn’t miss out on tennis as he enjoyed some time at a picturesque landscape in Rome. This famous tourist destination has been a favorite for this world’s former number-one tennis star. Fans noticed this after Federer celebrated his wife, Mirka Federer’s 45th birthday in Rome last year. Federer, his wife, and four children were spotted enjoying the Roman Spring, Vatican Museums, and Sistine Chapel.

This former Grand Slam champion again had the opportunity to visit this beautiful place and he took it wholeheartedly. Not only that but Federer was also spotted enjoying tennis there. This Swiss tennis legend was spotted at Foro Italico, the venue of a tennis tournament in a white outfit maintaining his usual punctuality of time. However, Federer’s tennis endeavor didn’t have any connection to his professional career.

Federer attended the event as a part of his close friend’s wedding. Now being a tennis enthusiast he probably couldn’t miss out on playing his favorite game in Rome. On the other hand, his friends were lucky enough to watch him play tennis live with his backhand.

Some more influential people and fans might also meet their tennis god on this trip. However, that information has been kept entirely secret from the media.

Nevertheless, Federer’s visit to Rome truly made the place very special to many Federer fans. Now that he visited the place twice and celebrated his wife’s birthday here, fans feel that Rome might be one of his favorite travel destinations in Europe.

Roger Federer celebrated his wife’s birthday in Rome with family

Federer has visited Rome for many tournaments. However, his vacation to this place will remain special since he celebrated Mirka Federer’s 45th birthday in the city with his four children. The Federer family enjoyed the Roman Stay for three days, took a walk to the city center, and dined at Federer’s favorite Taverna Trilussa restaurant. This restaurant became almost like Federer’s home during his visits to international tournaments.

Federer ended that Rome trip by visiting Vatican Museums with his family. In fact, the whole museums were exclusively booked for Federer’s tour, accompanied by his guide Gianni Crea. Mirka Federer also moved to tears seeing Michelangelo’s luxury frescos at the Sistine Chapel. They also visited Terrazza del Nicchoine to get an exclusive view of St. Peter’s dome.
