But do you know that both of them have won the competition before? The 27-year-old has only won it once, back in 2021. Zverev has been a part of the winning team since the first edition took place in Prague back in 2017, followed by two consecutive victories in Chicago and Geneva.

Borg’s thoughts on having Zverev and Medvedev on his team
While revealing this great news to the tennis fans, Borg opened up about having the Laver Cup Champions on his team. He also mentioned how he has high hopes for this year and shared his excitement to have Alcaraz, Medvedev, and Zverev as a part of his team.
He stated, “With Daniil, Sascha, and Carlos on my team, I think we have an excellent chance of making that happen. The guys have had an incredible start to the year, and this is a really strong first half of our lineup. I’m thrilled to have these champions in the fold for 2024.” Additionally, he discussed how Team World is extremely driven to win the cup in front of the home fans this time around because they have already won the prior two competitions.
