In a recent revelation, Holger Rune came ahead and talked about the legacy that the big three have built in tennis. However, he flips the script by suggesting that Novak Djokovic is a really nice guy in the game. While Federer and Nadal often get praised, Rune, having spent time with Djokovic, sees him as the ultimate role model for upcoming players.
According to Rune, Djokovic goes above and beyond, offering valuable advice and encouragement to the next generation. “Djokovic said many good things to me.. it’s always Federer and the dal who are named as the good guys, but when it comes to future generations, I think Djokovic give the most,” said Rune in the interview.

Rune claims Roger Federer is the most elegant player to have played the game
It is no doubt that Rune’s admiration for Roger Federer is never hidden. In multiple interviews, he has spoken highly about the 20-time grand slam winner. In one among them, he came ahead and suggested that he is one of the most elegant players to have played the game. While suggesting that he never got the chance to play against him, he revealed that it was nice to practice alongside the Swiss legend.
“Roger Federer. I practiced with him at the Nitto finals in 2019 but never played a match against him. He is the most elegant player I have ever seen on a tennis court so I think I would be very inspired by playing against him,” Rune said.
Thus, despite idolizing Roger Federer, Holger Rune made his feelings clear when it came to Novak Djokovic. While claiming him as the good guys who is always ready to help, he made sure that the Serbian’s image as the bad guys is far from reality.
