Novak Djokovic is starting to turn his tennis racket strings into a musical instrument for fans. We’ve seen this happen before, the Serbian has been making a ‘violin gesture’ as a tribute to his six-year-old daughter who’s learning to play the instrument all summer. Only this time, Nole presented the American crowd with something more intriguing. And by the looks of it, he wants to level with Stefanos Tsitsipas‘ adorable display at the US Open!
The World No. 2 has returned to the Tour after breaking the internet at the Paris Olympics earlier this month. In hopes of furnishing himself with the only missing silverware from his resume, the Serb clinched his long-awaited gold medal at the quadrennial event. This feat, in turn, helped him complete a career Golden Slam. Now, it’s on to the next task.
The 24-time Major champion indulged in a mixed doubles exhibition event before marking his attendance in New York. While performing, he electrified the crowd with energetic gestures to showcase his love for Queens. To much surprise, the former World No. 1 took to his official X handle to mix-match his love for the city while mentioning rockstar Freddie Mercury’s popular band, ‘Queens’.

Puns have been making rounds at the hardcourt event in Queens lately. Notably, Greek tennis star Tsitsipas also touched down on something similar after the World No. 11 and his girlfriend, Paula Badosa, won the ‘Mixed Madness’ exhibition event at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on August 21. While capturing moments wherein he was seen lifting the trophy with his lover, Tsitsipas took to social media to caption his win saying, “Found my queen in Queens.”
Meanwhile, Djokovic is having the time of his life. The Serbian superstar finessed fans by taking control of a fun mixed doubles rally at Flushing Meadows.

The Serbian has simply cracked the code at indulging fans. After all, he loves a good applause ringing from the stands. During the hardcourt Slam’s mixed doubles exhibition event, the former World No. 1 hilariously turned heads after assuming control of a doubles rally with Olympic gold medalist, Andre Agassi.
The Serb, alongside John McEnroe, took on the pair of Agassi and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. While participating in the friendly contest, Nole and Agassi exchanged a few crosscourt backhand shots only to turn the doubles showdown into a singles duel for a brief moment, executing a consecutive backhand-to-backhand rally that amusingly prompted Alcaraz and McEnroe to step aside for the duo to work their magic on fans.
Just what the people wanted!
