Reactions are pouring in from all over the world after Novak Djokovic lost the court case against his visa cancellation. Many are blaming the Serbian for not taking the vaccine and many are supporting him through this tough phase. 

However, big serving American Reilly Opelka remembered something else about Djokovic which can bring tears to the eyes of many Nole fans. The American praised Djokovic for his greatness, both on and off the court.

Reilly Opelka praises Novak Djokovic on Twitter

Along with many experts, many fans are also expressing their mixed reactions on the whole Novak Djokovic episode. One fan on Twitter wrote,Should have got vaccinated then. It’s. Not. That. Hard. 

In reply, Reilly posted an emotional tweet praising the Serbian for all the things he has done for the sport. He stated, “What else wasn’t that hard for Novak was staying on the practice court for an extra hour back in 2008 at Cincinnati masters to sign EVERY single kids ball. Me being one of them…”

Reilly has been pretty active on social media throughout the whole Djokovic case and doesn’t mind expressing with honesty. A few days back, the American criticized a journalist for making a blatant error while asking a question to Rafael Nadal. The 24-YO retweeted the video on Twitter and wrote, “But tennis media is good right?”

The result is not only a huge disappointment for the Australian Open but also for all the tennis fans. Now, Novak might not get an Australian visa for the next three years

The 20x Grand Slam Champion finally made a statement, and he seemed extremely disappointed with the outcome of the verdict.  The World no.1 said, “I am extremely disappointed with the ruling… I am uncomfortable that the focus of the past weeks has been on me…”

Meanwhile, Australian Open made a change of schedule after the verdict. Instead, World No.150 Salvatore Caruso, the lucky loser, will replace Djokovic in the draw and play Miomir Kecmanovic.
