Notably, both Djokovic and Federer have won 20 Grand Slam titles each and might have a chance to go past Nadal in the tally. But talking about the French Open, Nadal has not let them come close. As Djokovic has managed only 2 titles while the Swiss legend has won only one title in the clay-court Grand Slam.
Nadal on his pestering foot injury
The 36 years old has had an issue with his left foot for a long time now. Last year he missed out on the major chunk of the season because of the same reason and returned to the tour only at the start of this year, at the Australian Open. His participation in the French Open was also doubtful, as the Spaniard had pulled out of the Italian Open recently.
