Notably, Nadal has maintained an immense physique throughout his career despite suffering from many injuries. Understandably, the Spaniard received a lot of proposals from various underwear companies. Incidentally, Djokovic took a photo of him with Nadal wearing the underwear of one famous brand.

Notably, the Spaniard signed with Emporio Armani back in 2011, as they released a few photos of him in underwear and jeans. It is also worth noting that Nadal was the third sports person after Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham to become the brand ambassador of the famous brand. Later in his career, Nadal signed with another famous brand, Tommy Hilfiger.
Nadal and Djokovic’s epic rivalry
So far, in terms of their head-to-head record (30-29), the Serb is slightly ahead of the Spaniard. Recently, they faced off in the quarter-final of the French Open, where Nadal claimed victory over Djokovic in four sets. Later, Nadal went on to win his 14th French Open title.

Meanwhile, Djokovic did not have a great season in 2022 before the Wimbledon Championships. This year, he won his 21st Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, as Nadal increased his tally to 22 after triumphing in Melbourne and Paris. Currently, both legendary players are chasing each other in the race for securing most Grand Slam titles.
Although they have been playing each other since 2006, their most epic match came at the Australian Open final in 2012. After 5 hours and 53 minutes, Djokovic beat his rival Nadal 5-7 6-4 6-2 6-7(5) 7-5; it was the longest final in Grand Slam history. After the match, both players didn’t have the energy to stand, as the organizers brought chairs for them during the trophy presentation.

Currently, Nadal is all set to compete at the US Open after a minor injury setback. As for Djokovic, he is still unable to enter the US due to his non-vaccinated status. It means the Spaniard has a better chance of winning the US Open title and go ahead in the all-time Grand Slam race.
