The robbery at the holiday mansion of the Italian football player Marco Verratti became a hot topic recently. It also came to the surface that the same gang was targeting Lionel Messi and the Mallorca mansion of the tennis legend Rafael Nadal, too.

This however did not take place because of the arrest of the thieves. Fortunately, the police caught the thieves, and they also made new discoveries about their previous robberies.
Rafael Nadal and Lionel Messi’s mansions were planned to be robbed
The police found a handwritten note which had stated, “Porto Cristo Nadal Mallorca”, as reported by The Mirror. The robbery was planned and done by a seven-member gang at the holiday mansion of Marco Verratti. The thieves had done a 3 million dollar worth of robbery. They were also planning it at the mansion of football sensation Lionel Messi.
Moreover, another target was the 3.5 million dollar worth of Rafael Nadal’s beachfront mansion where he lives with his wife and to-be mother of their child, Maria Perello.
The player brought the property back in 2013. He has given it seven years’ worth of renovation to give it its present form. The fans were able to get glimpses of his house when he uploaded pictures of himself training in its gym, lounging in the living room, or cooking in the kitchen during the pandemic lockdown.

The player is on his summer break after his withdrawal from Wimbledon ahead of the semi-finals against Nick Kyrgios. The player suffered an abdominal injury during his quarter-finals against the American player Taylor Fritz.
The outfits for Rafael Nadal’s hard court season are revealed. If everything goes as per plan, the Spaniard might make his comeback on the ATP 1000 tours. Firstly, at the Montreal Masters next month, and following that he can play in Cincinnati Open.
