With the end of the 2020 tennis season, while some players are practicing, others are enjoying the off-season. One of them is the World No.2 Rafael Nadal who just loves to travel. Recently, Rafa went to the Bahamas with his wife Mery Perello and his childhood friends on a vacation.
The Bahamas has always been a special place for Nadal. He usually goes there for the pre-Christmas retreat after the tennis season ends. He even went to the place last year on a possible honeymoon with Mery Perello.

“Enjoying some days of holidays with my friends and loved ones,” wrote Rafa on Twitter.
The couple spent some quality and rejuvenating time at the place. Along with his friends, Rafa did fishing and some other exciting activities to refresh for the upcoming season. It was surely a relaxed moment for the 20-time Grand Slam winner after a tough tennis season.

A great thing about the 34-year-old Rafa is that he never separates the sport from himself. He did a lot of swimming, which he believed was essential for treating his back injuries. Earlier too, he had resorted to swimming in order to recover from his injuries.

Rafa recently got married and therefore, it is actually the first vacation for them, coming almost after a year. He realizes his responsibilities as a family man and hence is enjoying himself after an impressive season.
The Spaniard won his 20th Grand Slam title in 2020, equalling Roger Federer in the Slam tally. Although he failed to win his maiden ATP Finals title, he played brilliantly at the Mexican Open and of course at the French Open 2020 where he didn’t lose a single set.

Rafa will now be aiming for the Australian Open 2021 title. He hasn’t won the Australian Open since 2009, despite playing four finals. Fans expect him to lift the title in Melbourne this time and go ahead of Federer in the Slam tally for the very first time.
