Nadal said, “Honestly, Brisbane is very humid. I had to change every single piece. It takes a while, and then, in the walkie-talkie [he hears] three minutes, two minutes, one minute, half minute. I came out at the right time but probably the guy who was with me there said a few seconds late.”

Despite the time violation, Nadal was all smiles, remaining jubilant after his second singles victory following his comeback.
