At that moment, Nadal proceeded to move on with the match, winning the second set decisively. Once it ended, fans were curious to know the reason behind the delay. Nadal’s explanation left the fans laughing, as he revealed the real reason for his delay.
Nadal said, “Honestly, Brisbane is very humid. I had to change every single piece. It takes a while, and then, in the walkie-talkie [he hears] three minutes, two minutes, one minute, half minute. I came out at the right time but probably the guy who was with me there said a few seconds late.”
