After a lengthy hiatus, the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion will be back on the court at the Australian Open warm-up event in Brisbane. Before his stellar return to the men’s tour, Rafael Nadal has decided to organize a meet-and-greet event for his fans who are curious to see him in the city of Australia.
In their latest announcement, Brisbane International revealed that the 37-year-old player will take part in a special event to celebrate the return of the highly anticipated tournament. The officials stated, “The 22-time Grand Slam champion will make an appearance at Queen Street Mall stage at 10am, providing fans with the chance to see him up close and personal ahead of his opening-round match.”
Fans will now surely be excited to see Nadal in person ahead of his opening match at the Brisbane International. But that’s not all; they will also get to ask questions, as the Spaniard will participate in a Q&A panel.

The Brisbane International also announced that the former number 1 player will be joined by tournament director Cameron Pearson for a Q&A session with fans. On top of a meet-and-greet and Q&A session, Nadal will also sign tennis balls for some fans at the Queen Street Mall stage in Brisbane.
Fans, who will attend the special event, can also click pictures with the Brisbane International trophies. The officials further stated, “Young kids can pick up a racquet and have some fun on pop-up Hot Shots Tennis courts.”
