If we look at their winning percentage on different surfaces in Grand Slam, Rafael Nadal tops the list with an exceptional record on clay. However, Novak Djokovic recently broke into the top four with his latest second-round victory in the Wimbledon Championships.
Novak Djokovic breaks into the top four of the list
Novak Djokovic has been brilliant on the grass surface recently. The 35-year-old has won the last three Wimbledon titles and is on a winning streak of 23 matches in the tournament. Yesterday the Serb created a record after his second-round victory. Djokovic now ranks fourth in the list of best winning percentages on a single surface of Grand Slam.

Djokovic has registered 89% victories on the grass surface in Grand Slam matches. He sits in the fourth position on the list. Spaniard Rafael Nadal tops the list with 97.4% win on clay. Followed by Bjorn Borg with 92.6% on clay and Pete Sampras with 90% win on the grass surface.

Surprisingly, Swiss maestro Roger Federer does not feature in the top five of the list. Federer has won 86.9% of matches on the grass-court Grand Slam.
Djokovic through to the third round of Wimbledon 2022

Novak Djokovic has entered the third round of the Wimbledon Championships after a dominant performance against Thanasi Kokkinakis. The 35-year-old had a shaky start to his campaign as he dropped a set in his first-round match. However, the Serb took just one more match to regain his momentum.
Dominating from the start of the match, Djokovic broke the Aussie’s serve five times en route to an easy two-hour victory. With this win, the Serb has extended his winning streak in Wimbledon to 23 matches now.

With the chances looking bleak for his participation in the US Open, this will be the last chance for Djokovic to win a Grand Slam this year. Now that he has regained the much-needed momentum, the 20-time Grand Slam champion will look forward to clinching the Wimbledon title for the fourth consecutive time.
