As the fans came all the way from his motherland to Melbourne, the Italian star couldn’t stop himself from thanking them for their graceful presence.

Sinner, carrying a big smile on his face after an amazing victory over Zandschulp, mentioned, “Yeah, it feels good. I was not expecting them to come here, but it’s nice to see them in the stands. Obviously, we have made some great memories together, with all the support they give me.”
But he also cheekily acknowledged the rising popularity of his fan club, stating, “Yeah, they are getting more famous than I am slowly (smiling). It’s nice to have them.” As the young Italian moves ahead to the next round of the tournament, the fan club is also expected to have a positive impact on his performance.
