The physio’s inability to procure pickle juice left Moutet visibly agitated, an incandescence of anger that lingered in the air. Highlighting the issue, the Tennis Podcast took to Twitter to show how the demands made by the Frenchman could not be completed by their physio.

“Corentin Moutet called the physio and asked for pickle juice, only to be informed the physio doesn’t have it. Corentin Moutet is now incandescent with rage,” read the caption, highlighting the Frenchman’s peculiar demand.

As the tension mounted, the tennis court bore witness to a moment of intense drama. Moutet sufferd a heavy fall, his ankle twisted and wrist impacted. It brought the match to a sudden halt. In that split second, Andy Murray rushed to Moutet’s side in genuine concern.

The Tennis Podcast cited, in hailarious fashion, that had the US Open given him the pickle juice, the incident could have been well prevented.

“Murray was up to check on him. But it looks like it was mainly shock. He’s up and playing on. This never would have happened if you’d just given him pickle juice, US Open.
