Fans react to goofy Novak Djokovic ahead of the US Open

In an early training session, Novak Djokovic saw huge support from his fans, who were all set to cheer and motivate the Serbian. While hitting the nets, the Serb took a moment to entertain his fans as he imitated fellow players. While the fans guessed whom he was imitating, many took to Twitter to appreciate and slam, at the same time.

One fan took to Twitter to say, “Too good He’s a very funny man, not many top athletes can be great at their craft & satirical as well,” highlighting the fact that Novak Djokovic is not just like any other top player. 

Another fan took his moment and said, “Nature generously rewarded Novak with talents. He’s just incomparable,” citing the fact that it is almost impossible to compare himself with other stars in the current circuit.

This user used his wits to name some top players whom he thinks Novak might have imitated. Sharapova, McEnroe, Goran & Roddick. You gotta love this guy, said the fan while highlighting some top names. 

However, this fan did not seem satisfied with the efforts pulled by Novak. “He’s trying to win the crowd, just like he did Pre AO” citing the fact that it is only a publicity stunt to grab the audience.

While many think it to be a publicity stunt, Novak Djokovic is known to imitate famous tennis personalities. In his early years as a professional player, he used to do the same thing and imitated the likes of Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal, and many others. This act by Novak just took us back in time.

This user also expressed his anger with the act displayed by Novak Djokovic, citing that someone should imitate him when he throws his racket in frustration. “Someone should imitate him when he throws one of his fits and breaks a racket or hits a ball girl with a ball. not funny.”

Another user took his moment and slammed Djokovic as he thought that it was a pathetic move to pull. “More pathetic than I thought. He finds this amusing. Sorry, it’s really not funny.”

The comments did not just stop for the Serb. Fans expressed their dissatisfaction over Novak’s tomfoolery. “That’s not very nice,” said a fan.

While he was imitating players, he impersonated Rafa as well. However, his moves irked a die-hard Rafael Nadal fan who went ahead to slam the Serbian. “You are rude. Who do you think you are? Rafa is such a better person!” said the angered fan.

But while there was hatred, there was love as well for the Serbian. Many fans loved the way he pulled up a show and regarded him as the best entertainer. “He’s really the Djoker, I can pick Krygios but can say the rest, the guy is something else,” said one fan complimenting Djoker’s skills.

This fan also showed his immense support for the Serbian, claiming him to be an entertainer who knows how to put on a show. “He knows how to put up a show,” said the fan, highlighting Djokovic’s entertaining skills.
