Novak Djokovic clearly revealed that he was “feeling different emotions” after taking down Carlos Alcaraz to go for gold. With a massive portfolio of 24 grand slam titles and countless records, it was this achievement he yearned for a very long time. While his doting family was there to support him throughout the intense campaign, Jelena made sure to set new couple goals with her adorable message.

Sunday afternoon in Paris became a blockbuster show as Novak Djokovic won his first Olympic gold medal in men’s tennis. He defeated Carlos Alcaraz in an intense showdown that lasted almost three hours and eventually ended with a final scoreline of 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2). With this, he also completed the rare “Golden Slam” by winning all four major tournaments and the Olympics, becoming only the fifth player to do it.

While everyone badly wanted to see him push his limits to earn this missing piece of the puzzle, his wife Jelena assured him that he was “all gold” even if it wasn’t his day. “Our dad is all gold with or without a medal around his neck ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 let’s go 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸 (translated from the Serbian),” she wrote, writing on her family’s behalf.

Both Stefan and Tara accompanied Jelena as Nole battled for gold at Court Phillipe Chatrier. She knew what this victory meant for her husband and ensured she was present in each of his showdowns throughout the campaign. Sometimes concerned about the pain in his knee and cheering on his victories, Jelena played the role of a superfan for the Serb.

Even Djokovic couldn’t unsee her efforts and therefore came up with the most adorable way of thanking her. With tears of joy and pride in his eyes, the Serb walked through the crowded stands to meet his family and give a warm hug.

Novak Djokovic’s wife hypes the Serbian fans up!

Besides revealing her feelings of excitement for Novak Djokovic’s enormous achievement, Jelena also made sure to represent him in front of the fans. While his massive range of followers on social media would surely expect an update, Jelena understood the need and came forward to cheer them up, pointing at the arena spread with Serbian colors.

“How many Serbian flags were flying today 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸 pride!!!” she wrote in a post on X, dropping a highlight for the countrymen, directly from Court Phillipe Chatrier. Sharing the recent victory’s credit to each fan that supported the Serb throughout this tough journey, she also wrote, “We did it!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀.”

Winning an Olympic gold medal is a huge cause for celebration for the Djokovic family and their dedicated fans worldwide.
