Here’s what Millman said on The ABC Tennis Podcast. ‘Novak’s always been one of those guys that has been so meticulous with what enters his body. And a lot of the big tournaments he travels with private cook. So his meals a lot of these meals are being prepared off-site. He’ll go home say in Wimbledon normally has a house there, there’ll be going back there and having his meals prepared there. He’s always been extremely meticulous.

He further added: “And as a result, you’ve actually seen the food around the tournament change also, you know prior to Novak and all these gluten-free and vegan ideologies. That used to be pretty stock standard. There wasn’t even a thing. 10 years ago, gluten-free pasta. Now it seems like every second person is getting gluten-free pasta. So I do think people have tried to adapt and tried to change and looked over at Novak and said, well, let’s just try to mimic him,”.

Novak Djokovic battling with an injury in the United Cup

A few days left before the ball sets rolling at Melbourne Park for the first Grand Slam of the season. But before that, there’s a major worry for the Serbian. He was seen suffering from a wrist injury during Serbia’s clash against Czech Republic on Tuesday. Earlier his opponents had complained of the Serb making strategic use of injury timeouts. And guess what? It worked in that match and Serbia then went on to win the clash and reached the QF of the United Cup.

But it didn’t turn out well for the world number at the QFs. Australia’s Alex De Minaur defeated the Serbia icon by a shocking 6-4,6-4 margin to give his nation a 1-0 lead against Serbia. This resulted in Novak Djokovic’s first defeat in Australia for 6 years and ended his 43-match winning run. A major setback for the Serbian ahead of the 2024 AO. Can he bounce back in the next game?
