Djokovic, currently ranked as the world No. 2 men’s singles tennis player, has been part of the “Big Three” of tennis, alongside Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, for around two decades. The trio has dominated the sport, winning a combined total of 65 Grand Slam titles. However, Djokovic has often found himself in the shadow of Federer and Nadal when it comes to the GOAT debate.

British tennis star Liam Broady has publicly acknowledged that people have been fighting against giving Serbian player Novak Djokovic the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) title for far too long. Broady believes that once Djokovic retires from professional tennis, the world will finally come to appreciate the impressive accomplishments and records he has amassed throughout his career.

Tennis enthusiasts and fellow professionals alike have been left in awe of the Serbian’s incredible skill, determination, and longevity in the sport. Djokovic’s record includes 23 Grand Slam titles, 6 ATP Finals titles, and a record-breaking number of weeks as the world No. 1 player.

Broady believes that it is only a matter of time before Djokovic receives the recognition he deserves. He suggested that the true extent of Djokovic’s accomplishments will become evident once he retires and people have the opportunity to reflect on his career. This is not an uncommon phenomenon in sports; legends are often appreciated more once they have ended their careers.
