Henman brings Novak Djokovic under the spotlight

Amidst the anticipation, Henman without any hesitation said: “I actually interviewed him after the final in Turin and I said to him, ‘Look, you’re 36 years of age and to me it seems you’re playing better than ever. What does it feel like to you?’” This statement serves as the prelude to an insightful revelation that is about to come.

Henman, with his characteristic candor, goes on to express his astonishment. He even labeled Djokovic’s continued excellence as “absolutely staggering.” He commended Djokovic not only for defying the physical challenges but also for maintaining an insatiable hunger for victory. Summing up the overall feeling, Henman said, “but still to have the hunger and desire and motivation to keep winning”

 Thoroughly impressed by Djokovic’s dedication, Henman went on to reveal his prediction. He said,  “So in 2024, for sure, Djokovic is the player to beat. I think he’s the favorite at the start of the year and I still think he will dominate.” As the tennis community braces for the 2024 season, Henman unequivocally declares Djokovic as the player to be wary of. However, there are a few young guns who can pose a challenge to the Serb.
