Winning his 24th grand slam, Novak Djokovic put on some iconic performances at the 2023 US Open. The Serbian played to the best of his abilities to outlast each player he faced and emerged triumphant over all others. But he didn’t only leave the tournament with spectacular matches. After one of his victories, he sang a line from an iconic song for the audience. His line was later turned into a catchy tune.
While it might come off as a surprise to some, the tennis world is well related to the music industry. Many stars from both industries are quite close to each other. Djokovic’s remix can potentially bridge the gap between the two fields.

Novak Djokovic gets a remix
The quarterfinal of the US Open was a highly anticipated match. Novak Djokovic was set to face the American number 1, Taylor Fritz. The stadium was filled with the majority supporting Fritz. But Djokovic, as usual, put on a smashing performance and beat Fritz in straight sets. After the match, Djokovic decided to bring out his musical spirit.
After the match, he was interviewed by Rennae Stubbs, which is when he decided to put his own twist on the iconic song ‘You Gotta Fight for Your Right to Party’. He sang the main line, “You gotta fight for your right to party“.
This moment went viral, and Giuseppe Ottaviani, an Italian DJ, decided to make it into an actual song. He made the remix and posted the video on their Instagram page, which plays the upbeat tune.

The Djoker is also a party animal
In 2012, Djokovic faced Rafael Nadal in the final of the Australian Open, which turned out to be a 5-hour and 53-minute battle. Joyous at the victory and dehydrated, Djokovic was given a beer by the officials for the doping test. But the situation took a hilarious turn as the Serbian player became drunk out of his mind.
