Novak Djokovic has been taking time for himself lately. The tennis star, after facing an early defeat at the Indian Wells Masters, decided to withdraw from the glorious event in Miami and therefore, sneaked out to spend time with his family. However, it seems like his desire to be playful and active has no end as he was recently seen trying his hand at a different sport.
After facing a semi-final defeat against Casper Ruud, Novak Djokovic decided to switch his racquet for a club. The world no.1 recently posted a picture in which he can be seen hitting a golf ball straight into the hole. However, the post gave out a story of more than just a regular golf practice as the Serb playfully threw a challenge at golf royalty Rory McIlroy.
“Golf day. Watch out @rorymcilroy… 😂,” wrote Djokovic in the caption, teasing the Irish athlete who also shares a friendly chemistry with the Serbian legend. This post not only gave out the Serb’s love for a different sport but also unveiled a cheeky side of his nature, which is contrary to the aggression that he maintains on the tennis courts.
