In a recent revelation, Novak Djokovic came ahead and swapped his tennis racquets for skis, having a great time in the peaceful Italian snow. While taking a break from his usual schedule and the tennis grind, Djokovic showed his playful side and hinted at a fresh mindset. Enjoying some downtime, he seems all set to take on tough competitors like Federer and the up-and-coming star Sinner.
While gliding down the slopes, Djokovic’s relaxed adventures signal a break well spent and get fans excited for his comeback. The Serbian, who is planning to play at Indian Wells took some time off to enjoy the snow.

Thus, the Serbian, who was looking to make his way to the courts soon took some time away from his busy schedule and indulged in the beautiful Italian snow.
While many might not know about this, Roger Federer and Jannik Sinner also have a very strong connection with the sport. It was Sinner, who left this sport to be a professional player.

Jannik Sinner was a professional skiing player before switching to tennis
Had it not been for tennis, Jannik Sinner would have been a professional skiing player. From the age of 8 to 12 years old, he used to be a skiing player. However, things then took a u-turn and he thought to pursue his career in tennis. In an interview, he suggested that he enjoyed tennis more which was the major reason for him leaving skiing behind.
“In our parts, the first sport is, of course, skiing,” he said in a video. “I was second in Italy, but at the end I decided to play tennis because I enjoyed it more.”

Thus, Jannik Sinner, during his early years enjoyed skiing and was on course to become the best in the game. However, he later decided to quit it and follow his dreams of becoming a pro.
