There have been many instances in the recent past where Novak Djokovic was put under heavy criticism from the fans. But these little moments define his humbleness and eagerness to help others in need. He came up in the news yet again when he made a generous act for late tennis legend Manolo Santana. What’s it? Manolo Santana was one of the most prominent figures in Spain from the sporting world. His contributions to the game are immense. He was also awarded the prestigious ITF Phillippe Chatrier Award in 2020, for his contributions on and off the court.

The former number one has won 94 titles in his career including 4 Grand Slams. The Spanish legend took his last breath on 11 December 2021. Since then his family has been struggling to run the Sports Center in Marbella which was named after him.

Even after two years of the demise of Spain’s first Wimbledon winner, his assets remain without being distributed or preserved. The Sports Center run by his wife and son is said to be in terrible condition with poor and outdated facilities.

But as per the latest news coming out from Marbella, the Serbian superstar- Novak Djokovic has already started negotiations with Claudia (Santana’s widow) to take over the club. The club which once used to be a temple. Djokovic is now looking forward to buying the club & legacy of the tennis player and helping his family.

The 36-year-old came into the news recently for his contributions to the career of reigning Next Gen ATP Finals champion, Hamad Medjedovic. There have been many such instances where the Serbinator stood up when the others dropped their hands.
