Overnight, the US government announced that they have extended the travel ban on foreign nationals who are not vaccinated until April 10. A famous journalist shared the sad news for Djokovic on Twitter. The Department of Transportation Security of the United States has extended the requirement that all foreign travelers should have received the full dose of vaccines. Djokovic has stated categorically that he is not dwelling on the negative events from a year ago but rather is concentrating on the benefits of his return to Australia.
Last year, the Australian government imposed an indefinite travel restriction on Djokovic due to his refusal to have the COVID-19 vaccine. The Australian government has recently lifted the embargo, which has benefited Nole. According to Eurosport, Djokovic will visit Melbourne once more for the first Grand Slam of the year.
The US Tennis Association and ATP Tour recently announced a set of regulations. The former world number one did not play either event last year. After testing positive for coronavirus, authorities quarantined the Serb.
