The French Open 2023 has got all tennis fans hooked to their screens. He played his fourth round at the Roland Garros and emerged victorious against Juan Pablo Varillas in a three-set match. The legendary tennis star will play against Karen Khachanov in the quarter-finals. With this win, he also surpassed Rafael Nadal’s record of having the most quarterfinals appearance at Roland Garros. The Tennis Podcast posted on Twitter highlighting the fact that Djokovic will now have more quarter-finals than Nadal on his resume. It is astounding to see someone surpass the legendary Nadal in anything that associates with Roland Garros.

Ruling over two of the most legendary players in the history of tennis is in itself an achievement you can’t put a price to. Novak’s number of quarter-finals now at 17 surpasses Rafael’s number at 16. But these numbers also surpass Roger Federer’s number (12).
