Is Djokovic's gesture towards Dimitrov the classiest move we've seen in tennis this year?

Novak Djokovic loves putting in his effort whenever he is given a chance. Be it a professional commitment or a fun activity just waiting to entertain fans, Djokovic outclasses them all. This time, he has taken his talents to another dimension. The Serbian superstar is slated to perform in an exhibition match with Grigor Dimitrov. While the highly-anticipated event has already crazed fans in its wait, Nole decided to up the stakes. Only this time, he presented the Bulgarian sensation with an unknown talent.

After an exhausting run this season and with all four Grand Slams concluded – the season coming to an end, both players have decided to blow off some steam. In hopes of entertaining fans with their on-court prowess, Djokovic and Dimitrov will enter an exhibition event scheduled for September 17 at Arena Sofia, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Sparkling fans wild interest in the duo’s upcoming adventure, the community is already on its tippy-toes. With the stadium getting booked out in under 8 minutes, and several tickets going under the black market price, there are no two ways to term the excitement. Naturally, the Serb wants to breathe in all that enthusiasm.

Aiming to charm fans and with it, Dimitrov in his hometown, the former World No. 1 chose to master his Bulgarian skills. But, hold on. That’s not it. While creating a lasting impression on the home favorite’s crowd might be daunting for more, Nole had better ideas to pursue. To engage fans with his impressionable personality, Djokovic adorably put his efforts into singing a Bulgarian song ahead of the event. The Serb took to his Instagram to showcase his vocals, and upon tagging Dimitrov on his post, the latter had nothing but words of encouragement for his effort.

As a result, both players are scheduled to perform in an exhibition event in Argentina that commences on December 1. This, in turn, has resulted in the 35-year-old’s wishes coming to life. After seeking out the Serb to play with him before he departs, “I have a dream. I want to play my last match in Argentina and I want you to come,” Djokovic responded in kind. With the duo already sharing a charismatic on-court bond – as witnessed at the US Open this year, it’ll be fun to watch these stars engage in a friendly contest.
