World No.1 Novak Djokovic is enjoying some quality time in Tokyo. Being a hugely popular figure, it comes as no surprise that athletes and fans alike are eagerly clicking photos with the Serbian legend every chance they get. In a way, Djokovic is not just representing his nation in Tokyo but is also acting as an ambassador of tennis.
In a recent interview, Djokovic revealed that it has been a great experience for him in Tokyo so far. He mentioned that it gives him pleasure that many other athletes follow tennis and its players, including him.
“It’s a fantastic experience for me. It’s great that to see that there’s a lot of athletes that appreciate tennis players, that follow tennis,” said Djokovic in the interview.

Interestingly, a fan has combined all of Djokovic’s pictures with the other athletes in a single video. She posted it on her Twitter handle where one can watch so many players posing with the World No.1 player.

Djokovic further stated that it is a really incredible feeling to know different athletes. He highlighted that he is also observing their day-to-day routine and is learning about their lives and experiences.
“We are here as representatives of our country and we also represent our sport when we’re amongst other athletes in our village and it’s a very unique experience to be around the best athletes in the world, observe how they train in the gym, how they recover, what they eat, what they think about life, sports, just exchange experiences, and knowledge. It’s wonderful. It’s a lot of fun,” added the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
