Is Andy Murray's time in the spotlight over, or can he still compete with Djokovic and Nadal?

In the shadowy realm of unspoken truths, Andy Murray finds himself ensnared in a delicate dilemma! But he is probably not the only one. Deciding the best among Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal is a task in itself. And as they are getting ready to take down each other in the second-round duel at the Olympics, the question has once again popped up in all our minds. But for someone who has first-hand experience competing against both of them, it is indeed even more difficult. So, whom did he choose? Let’s hear it from Murray himself!

Since their junior days, Andy Murray has always been close to his on-court rival, Novak Djokovic. Both have played alongside each other for 25 years, but it was always Djokovic who had the lead, 25-11. Irrespective of that, the duo, who were briefly doubles partners as well, remained in touch with each other. But how can we forget Nadal’s and Murray’s friendship? “Rafa and I are good friends and we have been since we were young,” the 37-year-old Brit once said of Nadal, against whom he has lost 7 matches out of 24.

And now that both of his friends are gearing up to face each other again after two years, he was asked to choose his favorite among the two. After much reflection, the three-time Grand Slam champion, who is soon going to retire from tennis, opted to sidestep the question. To avoid fueling the eternal debate among tennis fans, Murray said, “I cannot make the call.”
