He stated that “Half of Novak Djokovic’s major titles have come in the last 5 years.” Further, he also listed the titles that he has won in the last five years, starting from 2018 until the last US Open, which he won around a month ago.

After the facts emerged, tennis fans flooded the comment section and criticized the 2023 US Open champion based on the stats. Here are some comments. A fan made fun of the stats and wrote, “lol . stats are like bikinis.”

Another fan highlighted how these 5 years were quite different throughout his entire tennis career. He wrote, “12 slams in the span of 12 years, including his prime in the era of prime Fedal, Murray, Wawrinka. 12 slams in the span of 5 years in the era of crippled Fedal, and plumbers. Vulturovic racking up meaningless numbers by the dozens.”

But then, some of the tennis fans also tagged how this time span was quite easy for him as his greatest rivals, Nadal and Federer, were going a little slow on the tennis court. “Yeah once Feds was to old and then retired lmao and then Nadal was gone.. weak era champ, a fan added.”

Moreover, fans started criticizing him by calling those five years the “Weak era.”
