Dante Bottini, in an interview with La Nacion, detailed how the Serbian tennis player is able to achieve such great heights in the latter part of his career. Along with that, he also mentioned how he feeds himself to keep the tennis hunger in himself, leaving his rivals, Federer and Nadal, who entered the arena around the same time, behind.

Bottini stated, “I know how demanding he is with himself and with his team. The most surprising thing is that his physique lasts that way. He feeds himself in a unique way, paying attention to every detail. He has been doing yoga for many years; that’s why he is so elastic. You could be hungry and eager to continue, as could happen to Nadal or as Roger could have had, but your body told you enough.”

Apart from that, the Argentinian player also stated that the world number one is not afraid to go for more on the court. In addition, he takes care of himself and trains for perfection, and to keep that hunger alive, he has taken over his other Big Three rivals in this context.

Novak Djokovic breaks age boundaries

Haas previously, in an interview with Puntodebreak, talked about the Serb’s amazing drive towards success and how it was not easy for him to achieve it. Coming from an environment where it wasn’t easy for him to hone his special talent, his desire to get more is just different.

He said, “When he tells stories about how he grew up during the war and dreamed of giving his family a better life… you can’t learn that, you have it or you don’t have”. Along with that, he also highlighted how even Pete Sampras and Boris Becker retired at the age of 30, but Djokovic’s mentality at the age of 36 is just like that of a teenager who understands the game.
