Novak Djokovic talks about Australian Open participation ahead of Paris Masters 2021

Ahead of the tournament, the Serbian star talked to press about learning from his US Open final defeat and details over the Australian Open next year. Djokovic is yet to confirm his participation and revealed that he will decide on Melbourne once there is an official update.

I’m going to decide whether I go after I see the official announcement from Tennis Australia. Until then, I won’t comment anymore on that”, affirmed the Serb.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion enjoys an incredible record at the Australian Open, where he won nine times. The courts in Melbourne also suit Djokovic’s playing style as he defeated every single one of the top players in the ATP rooster currently.

It was Dominic Thiem who questioned the Serb last year in the finals in Melbourne. But, known for bouncing back to victory out of nowhere, Djokovic rose to the occasion and defeated Thiem to win his eighth Australian Open crown.
