Time and again, the tennis GOAT Novak Djokovic has mentioned that his first love is always the sport. And that he does not plan to leave the sport anytime soon. This is why even after being the number one player year after year, he continues to compete in tournaments and defeat all others.

However, focusing on the sport so much comes at the cost of not being able to spend as much time with your family and kids. Recently he posted how a change of course in tournaments has now allowed him to spend more time with his kids and experience fatherhood at its best.

The Serbian tennis star continues to amaze his fans with his impeccable performance on the court. However, years of practice and traveling to play the biggest tournaments definitely did not allow him to spend as much time with his kids as he would have wanted.

Recently he shared how being able to control which tournaments to attend and which has not allowed him a lot of time to spend with his kids and he is loving every bit of it. He said, “Spending more time with children really grants you incredible satisfaction & beautiful emotions & things that you carry for a long time that define fatherhood & parenthood in a way. I have been modeling my schedule this year to my liking where I want to play, & I haven’t played many tournaments at all, I’ve gotten to spend more time with my family. The rewards that you get in the relationship are something that is bigger than anything.

We are so touched by the fact that Djokovic has decided to put his first love for tennis secondary and dedicate that time to his kids and family making them his priority. His personal life surely seems to be flourishing. In fact, in one of his interviews, Djokovic also claimed that this season has been a great one for him and his thirst for grand slams remains.

In a recent interview with the ATP Staff, Novak Djokovic shared how he has won 3 out of the 4 slams he played. He also shared how he had the chance to play another final at Wimbledon. Djokovic also mentioned that grand slams are always his priority and it will remain so.

Further, he added that he had a great season and couldn’t have asked for better. Djokovic did not forget to add that whichever tournament he plays, he plays to win but the big goals are always the grand slams for him.
