Although he maintains composure while playing off-court, Novak Djokovic loves to keep a calm and joking demeanor. He is receiving immense praise from around the world. With his record 23rd grand slam win, on clay no less, he has shown off his ability in the racket sport. Another jokester of the field, Nick Kyrgios, congratulated Djokovic with an inside joke which also prompted a reply from the ATP number 1.

While Kyrgios leads his personality as a master of banter, he recently warned Coco Gauff not to wish for it. Gauff is a player who wants players to have banter and trash talk on the court. The Aussie told Gauff not to have too much hope about such an interaction.

Nick Kyrgios is one player who has been absent from the tour for quite some time now. The Aussie bad boy has been out due to injuries, but he has managed to maintain a dialogue with his fans. In another social media moment, which grabbed his followers, Kyrgios congratulated Novak Djokovic on his win. However, Kyrgios could not help but leave a cheeky comment for the Serb.

Kyrgios shared a picture of the two on a clay court on his Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “Congratulations @djokernole from you asking me advice on the clay to again winning the French open. Proud of you mate, I’m here anytime, love coach kygs 😂,” he wrote in pure Kyrgios fashion. The bad boy of tennis had apparently forgotten that the Serbian is also called the Djoker.

He thanked the former number 13 and said that he could advise Kyrgios for grass court as well. “😂😂😂 same here brother. If you need any advise on grass, I am right here 😂🙌❤️.” 

Kyrgios jokingly warns Coco Gauff

Gauff has talked about players having an open dialogue and launching scathing comments on-court many times. While some have supported her opinions, Kyrgios joked about that as well. When WTA Insider shared her comments on Twitter, Kyrgios jokingly warned Gauff that no one wants such banter.

His comment could’ve been evoked due to Kyrgios being labeled ‘controversial’ due to his antics. He may have the controversial tag on his name, but Kyrgios will sooner give up tennis than give up his personality.
