Djokovic has made his way back to the Montenegrin beaches, where he started his US Open preparations. He is, however, taking some time to unwind with his family as well, before he returns to his intense training. Djokovic continued to train despite the oppressive heat, putting up a strenuous effort that demonstrated his unwavering quest for greatness. Just a few days ago, Djokovic and the entire Serbian Olympic squad had a lavish welcome home celebration in Serbia following their gold medal win at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Thousands of ecstatic supporters flocked to Belgrade City Hall on Monday night to embrace and cheer for their sportsmen.

He stated, “I have had the honor and pleasure of being on this special [City Hall] balcony several times in my career, but each time you surprise and inspire me more and more. This is the most beautiful feeling that an athlete from Serbia can experience.” 

The 24-time Major winner has been spending time with his family in Montenegro even before the 2024 Olympics, enjoying a leisurely yacht cruise to rejuvenate before his next trials. For Djokovic, this serene getaway has grown to be a beloved summertime ritual that offers much-needed relief from the demanding nature of the tennis season.

However, this time, the couple turned heads with their stunning pictures during their family vacation before the Olympics, Djokovic and his wife Jelena took on a heartwarming and unprecedented act for kids.

A video of a man dressed like a fisherman walking through the streets of Montenegro with a large group of people and children surrounding him recently captured the attention of admirers on social media. But when the fisherman took off his disguise, it turned out to be the 24-time grand slam champion, Djokovic. He wore an orange dungaree paired with a red-checkered shirt.  

When Djokovic disclosed who he was, his lighthearted attempt to fit in with the throng became a joyful surprise. He then joined the kids in playing some street games. In addition, revealing his humble side, the Serbian tennis star graciously embraced the local culture by posing for pictures with the people of Tivat, proudly celebrating their traditions.

Montenegro is a special place for the Djoker. He has spent many vacations there, married his wife in the country, and even mingled with the locals. It was the obvious choice for a celebration trip or a preparation trip for the upcoming US Open. As he gets ready for the slam, will he be able to acclaim his 25th title?
