After witnessing some top quality tennis this season, the Davis Cup Finals 2021 will soon take place. The countries have already started announcing their squads and the likes of Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, and Carlos Alcaraz will light up the tournament.

The Davis Cup Finals will begin on November 25, 2021, and will extend till December 05, 2021. There are 18 teams participating and they are placed under six different groups, with each group having three teams each.

Carlos Alcaraz headlines Team Spain’s squad at Davis Cup Finals 2021

The defending champion, Team Spain, has included Carlos Alcaraz in their squad this year. The youngster impressed the fans at the US Open 2021 and even defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas there.

Other than Alcaraz, Feliciano Lopez, Pablo Carreno Busta, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Marcel Granollers will be a part of the squad. Even though they will miss Rafael Nadal this year, the team has the potential to win the title yet again. They are the top-seeded team this year.

Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead Team Canada’s squad

Another promising player, Felix Auger-Aliassime will be the one in-charge of his side, Canada, at the Davis Cup Finals 2021. Along with him, Denis Shapovalov, Vasek Pospisil, Brayden Schnur, and Peter Polansky are the members of the team.

Team Canada emerged as the runners-up in the last edition of the Davis Cup. Thus, they will begin as the second-seed.

Novak Djokovic to star in Team Serbia’s squad

World No.1 Novak Djokovic will headline the squad of Team Serbia. He will also have Filip Krajinovic, Dusan Lajovic, Laslo Djere, and Miomir Kecmanovic on his team.

Daniil Medvedev to play an integral role in Team Russia

US Open 2021 champion Daniil Medvedev will be looking forward to winning the Davis Cup Finals 2021 now. He has got a strong squad as well as the team consists of the likes of Andrey Rublev, Aslan Karatsev, Karen Khachanov, and Evgeny Donskoy.

Even though they will begin as the 12th seeded team, they can give some quite tough competition to the other teams this year.

Team USA

Even the United States of America have got quite an incredible squad this year. They will have the presence of John Isner, Reilly Opelka, Taylor Fritz, Rajeev Ram, and Jack Sock in their team.

Although all the players are not that big names, they are enjoying some superb form and can cause quite a few upsets. Team USA will begin as the fifth seeded team at the tournament.

Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner to star in Team Italy

Matteo Berrettini and Jannik Sinner will be leading Italy at the Davis Cup Finals 2021. The latter recently won the European Open 2021 title and looks in stunning form.

They will be assisted by Lorenzo Sonego, Lorenzo Musetti, and Fabio Fognini at the tournament and will begin as the eighth seeded team.

Other teams at the Davis Cup Finals 2021

Apart from this, even though Team Germany will miss Alexander Zverev this year, they have Jan-Lennard Struff, Dominik Koepfer, Peter Gojowczyk, Kevin Krawietz, and Tim Puetz in their team.

Team France is also a strong team having the likes of Ugo Humbert, Richard Gasquet, Pierre-Hugues Humbert, Nicolas Mahut, and Arthur Rinderknech in their squad. They will begin as the third-seeded team.

Even though there is no Andy Murray in Team Great Britain this year, Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans, Joe Salisbury, and Neal Skupski will make sure that their team doesn’t fall apart at the tournament. They will begin as the ninth-seeded team.
