Medvedev praises Nick Kyrgios’ gameplay
The 2022 Australian Open runner-up while addressing the media spoke about Kyrgios’ caliber and made a noteworthy comparison. He said, “It was a high-level match. I’ve played Novak, Rafa. They all play amazing. Nick today played kind of their level, in my opinion.”
Thereafter Medvedev added, “He has a little bit of a different game because he’s not like a grinder in a way. At the same time he can rally. He’s tough to play. He has an amazing serve.”

“If he plays like this till end of the tournament, he has all the chances to win it.” The Aussie, after struggling to win the first set and losing the second, slipped the match entirely out of the Los Cabos Open champion’s hands. This was the fifth time, Kyrgios locked horns with the 26-year-old, and with a 7-6 (11) 3-6 6-3 6-2 win he furthered his lead in head-to-head records to 4-1.
